What about Prince? He would play a gig somewhere for 2 to 4 hours and then head over to some other place for a surprise visit and play for another 2 to 4 hours!
What about Bobby Porter? He busted his ass with one for or another of our band from the early `70's to his death about 15 years ago.
He’s definitely on a very short list of extremely gifted, hardworking and popular performers. I haven’t looked at the numbers in a while, but it used to be easy to argue his dominance based on stats on number of albums sold, number of tickets sold, number of countries he’s sold out concerts, number of countries his music has dominated the popularity charts, and the depth and breadth of a body of work that spans not just decades, but generations. He was a genius. And he was nutz. They often go hand in hand.

A eulogy almost always inflates who and what the deceased person was.
It's hard to define the greatest of anything.
MJ was good... was he the greatest? I'm sure people will have differing opinions.
He was indeed talented but there were many that were better. Elvis for one.
@Dongie James Brown was an entertainer, not a singer.
I have to say it's all down to the observer. Different tastes.
Hey, Berry, ever heard of Sammy Davis, Jr. ?
He was definitely one of the best.
I wouldn't say so. He could sing and dance a little but most of his songs were pretty samey.
For me he will always be the King of Pop.
*One of the GOATs
Was he high?
Not even close the the greatest
Disagree. And not because he’s a pedo.
