Pat Sajak, who holds the record for being the longest running gameshow host in history, has decided not to renew his contract and retire after 41 years. His final episode airs tonight. Ryan Seacrest will takeover the show in September. Vanna will still flip the letters.

I don't watch TV anymore but I used to love watching game shows when I was little. I probably won't catch this one but he is definitely a legend in game show history as well as Vanna.

I think she still has to hit a button to reveal the letter. She always touches the blocks in the same spot. I agree that she’s an icon though, just like Pat. I put them in the same category as Bob Barker, before he beat up Happy Gilmore.

I’d be interested in how it all works myself. I learned a lot from helping to build a casino. I bet building a modern game show set would be interesting.

I haven't watched it in years, but I loved it when I was little. I wish him a very happy retirement.
