Ten Years After?

This question was inspired by @sage2021. Once upon a time i wrote a short story about a guy going to his ten year high school reunion. I called the story "Ten Years After".

The first song is the one I wanted to hear and it sounded so great!

I think the younger people would really like to see how hip baby boomers were back then. I think they would enjoy the psychedelics we were into.

That guitar playing was unreal in a good way. I loved it.

This was a very good version of the song because of the visuals.

I used to write for a college literary magazine. Oddly enough it was the college where my best friend went. I probably submitted a half dozen items and had 4 of them printed. My mother had some guy come and clean out her attic and all my stuff from high school and college got tossed. I had hoped that the college might put old copies of that literary magazine on line but so far no good. The story was about a kid who was sort of a loser in high school but went to college out if state, started working out and eventually started a real estate business and also hired a women to manage his office and at night he worked with the woman's husband to rehab houses. They became his surrogate parents. He goes back home to his ten year high school reunion. He has a custom made suit made for the occasion and rents a new car. He had a decent business but was far from wealthy. The story was about confronting one's past and trying to integrate it into the present. He meets a girl he had a huge crush on. Then has to find out a girl he was close to had died and finally he had to deal with two guys that used to bully him
I am sort of amazed I remember so much about this.
