I ask because I remembered that mom hated any song that had her name in it! I've met a few other people like that, too, nearly all of them were women! Maybe she would've liked it better if they made songs using her real first name, Wilma! She always went by her third name, Jane.

I read a hilarious quote from Michelle Pfeiffer that her kids weren't fans of that Bruno Mars song that has her name in it.

But then I just Wikipedia-ed Michelle Pfieiffer and now realize her quote seems kinda BS. Her youngest kid was born in 1994 which would've made him 19 or 20 when the song come out in 2014, so the idea of being in a carpool with the kids when she song came on seems pretty unlikely.

I've avoided nearly all "music" from the past 25 or 30 years. Partly because 95%% of it is just garbage with no talent at all involved and secondly, because I've already got over 62,000 records and just don't want to get into anything else I might like, being a completest, I'd end up collecting everything they ever put out and I just don't have the room, anymore.

Slightly. I was in a band for 25 years and we were working on our 3rd album when we broke up. I've also done voice acting in a couple movies and helped at least 5 people write their books.
