I could watch ER (emergency room) on a loop until the day i died. i loved it because i had an interest in medicine. i think it captivates on other levels as well. playing the hero, dealing with failure and all the in between because of the lives of the doctors are well narrated.

i know a lot of people like Grey's Anatomy and the other shows that are exactly alike, but ER is the one that started it and it's so great! it was made by michael crichton, with a medical background, and a genius author that has an incredible imagination.

he wrote jurassic park, the ORIGINAL westworld, congo, timeline, etc... more books that are a treasure trove for filmmakers. i truly was sad to see the series finale. if any medical series needed a spinoff, that was the series!

Hard to pick one, so let me pick two.

How I Met Your Mother - Very interesting interaction among the characters and their situations, plus the basic premise was interesting... a guy telling his adult kids about his past.

Seinfeld - the best show ever where each episode really has no plot, just character interactions.

As you can see, I like shows that develop characters and show their interactions. That's why I prefer Star Trek over Star Wars.

Too many to name only one. “Firefly” is easily near the top; criminally underrated. “The Walking Dead” defied a lot of expectations from its groundbreaking beginning and for a very long time. This question only popped onto my feed because of a question i posted that was inspired by “Castle Rock”, which i think is brilliant. I’m a fan of “The Simpsons” and that’s been going strong for decades now.
I just started rewatching “The King of the Hill” because they started making new episodes. I don’t know if “reboot” is the right word because it’s kind of picking up where it left off, not starting over. The brand new season is genius! When i ran out of new episodes, my appetite had merely been whetted. So i started the series from the very beginning! It’s always been great!

So many good shows. I really liked Supernatural. I even watched the reruns. The writing was good and it seemed like it had a real good VS evil theme. In the end it was God that was the bad guy
