Which TV series has been the best for you so far and why?

BSG.

Battlestar Galactica (2003). To me it's a clever mix of action, suspense and intelligent science-fiction.

Unlike star wars.

Intelligent in the sense that it questions many important topics throughout the show. It questions the nature and interactions of several bodies we know of in the real world, such as Justice, Government, Military, Faith, Religion, Artificial Intelligence, History and consciousness.

Plus there's Gaius Baltar, a character made to remind us that we're probably not the heroes we'd love to be.

The original Star Trek. It dealt with many different themes. Duty, loyalty, friendship and honor were. common themes. Every episode had a lesson in it. Even though it was over 60 years since the last episode was filmed it has really stood the test of time.

The slow-burn character transformation of Walter White is insane, the writing is razor sharp, and every visual frame feels like a painting. The tension builds so naturally that you almost feel complicit in his choices. Also, that mix of dark humor, moral ambiguity, and brilliant acting from Cranston and Paul just never gets old for me.

Walt Disney's Zorro. Mix of drama, comedy, action as well as both entertaining and historical. And it was set and filmed in MY state. And as far as action, it was well ahead of its time. Pretty much all movies/TV shows in this era were very slow and dull.
