Goonies also. And I’m a child of the eighties so people my age are usually shocked when I say that I’ve never seen it. The other movie I feel like everyone else has seen (except me) is 50 shades of grey, which I never had any desire to see.

I don't know if the whole world but Forrest Gump. And I don't care to watch it either.
12 Reply- 1 y
Yeah it's not all that. People overhype that movie but it's really not that great to me. So you're certainly not missing out.
- 1 y
@avery58 and @Simslover92, the reason you two don't appreciate "Forrest Gump" so much is that you have little-to-no first-hand knowledge of the second half of the 20th Century. "Forrest Gump" is mostly for baby boomers (Forrest himself was born on D-Day during WW II) or old Gen-Xers who lived through the times or came of age during the time period that Forrest tells of his life (Forrest's life story as he tells the people on the bench waiting for the bus begins in the early 1950s to March 1981 which is when Forrest was waiting for the bus.)
Because you are so young, you can't knowingly appreciate many of the subtle visual references in the film that someone my age and older immediately would.

Oh, "The Goonies"! It's such a classic. 🌊🗺️ I remember watching it with my friends during a summer movie marathon, and it was a blast. The adventurous spirit, with a group of kids finding a pirate's treasure, is such a throwback to childhood dreams. If you ever get a chance to watch it, grab some popcorn and make a cozy evening of it. Trust me, it’s worth experiencing the magic that everyone talks about. Maybe you'll even feel like a kid again! 🎬🍿

Pretty much anything I haven't seen is because I know it's bad.
Example Twilight films tbf though even I have seen the first and the last one which also the best ones however it's not saying much. Same with harry potter first film sucked so yeah didn't bother.
Randomly saw the chambers one with the snake it was much better than the first film stuff happened but the whole story made no sense nor does the rest after finding out the general plot.10 Replyu
1 ywell, that would be a long long long list...
pretty much any blockbuster nowadays, and a lot of classics from 80's and 90's that people keep talking about and to this day, I have not bothered to watch them... lol29 Reply- 1 y
Lol true. I can understand not watching most of the blockbusters nowadays. They are trash. But 80s and 90s classics are pretty good. Especially movies like Fight Club, Dirty Dancing, Ghost, the Matrix, Speed, etc.
- 1 y
Dirty Dancing, Ghost... hear about them all the time, but I have not seen them, lol
Fight Club and Matrix yes...
The Breakfast Club, no... - 1 y
You have not seen the Breakfast Club? Oh man you're missing out. Dirty Dancing and Ghost too. They are movies you must watch before you die. At least Dirty Dancing. 💃 🕺
+1 @Simslover92 for Breakfast Club.. That was the definitive Brat Pack Movie

1 yI've never seen Ghostbusters (1984), Fight Club, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Avatar, or Titanic (well... yes, but it was just on as background noise and on a comedy channel, so it was kind of weird...*romance, romance, sadness and death..."Catch Everybody Loves Raymond tonight at 8!"... sadness and death*).
10 Reply408 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. Goonies is a good flick.
I've never seen any of the Star Wars flicks.
I've tried watching the first one numerous times.
I fall asleep shortly after the scrolly thing in the beginning.
I have tried my darndest to stay awake to see it.
It ain't happening.10 Reply- 1 y
😱 How can you have not seen goonies?
I don't like slap stick or gutter humor. So any movie like that. Only comedies I like are
really dry humor, so usually European.11 Reply- 1 y
Oh ok. I just have never been interested in watching it. It's come on TV a couple of times but I always flip the channel whenever it's on.
- Anonymous(25-29)1 y
Fifty shades of grey. I haven’t even seen at least 1 minute of that movie.
I have watched a bit of the fast and furious movies but never all the way through. I didn’t like it that much so I decided to stop watching it and put on another movie.10 Reply - 1 y
Avatar? Is that the one with the blue aliens? I think it was listed as most watched movie of all time. ?
11 Reply- 1 y
Yes it is. And it is so overrated.
I know this doesn't answer the question, but Goonies is one of those movies everyone around me loves, but I just can't seem to like it.
11 Reply- 1 y
Yeah I always change the channel whenever it comes on TV. Never felt like watching it.

Glad you do. It definitely was overhyped. The second one I didn't even bother to watch but my boyfriend said it was a waste of time and money.

I think he did lol

Oh... there are a lot... I was raised in a conservative household so there are lots of films and tunes I'm only starting to watch now.

Any of the more recent superhero movies and Star Wars movies.
I'm not against seeing them, per se, but I don't feel the slightest desire to.

The Godfather. Still haven't gotten around to it. I don't know... I just have trouble watching older films.

The third Ghostbusters with just the women, I heard it was bad but I thought everyone has seen Goonies and the original Star Wars

Titanic. I just couldn't quite bring myself to watch it. And Celine and Leonardo did nothing to encourage me.

Godfather , heard so much but seems like very still going , no rush type movie and will definitely going to watch someday
10 Reply - 1 y
ET.. I've never seen that!
16 Reply- 1 y
Me either.
I mean I can work out everything that happened.. same with Titanic.. I already know the outcome.. I read what happened about the real life disaster. It leaves a bad taste that Holywood tried to glamourise it.
- 1 y
Yep that's so true.
- 1 y
What? It's a Spielberg movie how can you not have watched a Spielberg movie?
- 1 y
And they did a respectable job with Titanic. I was judgy too until someone made me watch it.
@dustybiker2 I know I know.. I've seen everything from Duel and Batteries not included to Gremlins and Close Encounters. NOT to mention all the Star Wars stuff.. just never ET lol
