A few weeks ago. We had to evacuate because of a wildfire threatening my neighborhood. We spent the first night sleeping in our car on our gas station parking lot which was so uncomfortable, and so unpleasent with the fire right there. So the next morning when we heard they aren't gonna let us go back home I was like, "fuck this, we're going to the neighboring town and going to a hotel." My parents didn't want to, but I convinced them, especially after I said I'll pay for it.
