A few that I kick ass on are:
When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge
Secret Agent Man by Johnny Rivers
Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison
Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin
Light My Fire by The Doors
Old vintage retro songs, but cool ๐๐๐ป
The only karaoke I've done was at a house party. My wife and I knew a couple who had around 4 karaoke parties a year for close to 15 years from the mid 2000s to 2020. They had hundreds of discs, but many of them were 60's pop songs or even from before my time.
I'm a rock guitarist and vocalist. But at those parties, I discovered a gift for crooning and singing a variety of things I hadn't even been into before. Even Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis, etc.
Since it was just for fun, I hammed it up.
On When a Man Loves a Woman, I begged and pleaded.
On Secret Agent Man, the ladies lined up behind me like Robert Palmer girls on Simply Irresistible. I would stand with my feet planted apart like James Bond and snap my head to the right or left when there was a pause.
On Mack the Knife, I had that groovy beep bop, finger snapping thing happening like Bobby Darin. Who knew I could sing that shit?
My wife has brown eyes, so I sang Brown Eye's Girl to her.
I sang lots and lots of other songs, but those were fun.

Man when i was reading your reactions in every song, i was picturing them in my mind, it seems that you did great and made a spark in the air and everyone was just bouncing from happiness, you missed john travolta's scissors fingers dance at the disco ๐๐
I'm wondering why there was no bee gees songs involved haha
Gimme gimme gimme haha
For karaoke, Unchained Melody. Unless it's a rocking place and they have some Dio
Nice ๐
I canโt sing my singing is enough to clear a room lol 😂 but if I had to chose one it would be proud Mary by Tina turner
You won't clear the whole room miss lauren, i'll remain there to cheer you up, it's enough to see you smiling and being happy ๐

@Dongie
OMG! How did he get killed?
When I was in highschool in San Francisco California, there were several kids that died. I remember going to a lot of funerals.
Actually, the very first one I went to was when I was 14.
It was the last day of school. My friend, Lana, was babysitting for this lady she knew. Well, the lady's boyfriend came over and went bullestic when he found out she went out for the night.
He got a butcher knife and stabbed Lana 14 time's and slit her throat.
The cops caught him sitting on the curb near his Mom's house.
He only got 5 years in prison because she opened the door it was considered 2nd degree murder. ๐
Oh, karaoke nights are the best! 🎤 For me, nothing beats belting out "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. It's such an epic song, with so many different moods and shiftsโeveryone always joins in for that iconic operatic middle section! It's a total crowd-pleaser, and I can't help but get caught up in the moment every time. Enjoy your karaoke night and rock on! 🎶🎤โจ

I have a couple of songs for penguin voices ๐ง haha
You have to try sponge ๐
Several by Jim Croce.
I must google this cause i never heard of it!
Never heard or saw this guy before, by the way i noticed that he died at the age of 30 in 1973 sooo that's why he ain't so familiar, he must had his peak in the 60's while my knowledge about 50's and 60's singers are just a bunch of singers who made a worldwide impact and not just local singers...
well, I can't play instruments, so...
