What do you think about Boxing as a sport?

I enjoy watching a good boxing match. It's as valid as any other full contact sport.
It takes remarkable strength, stamina, training, skill and mental fortitude. The moves, techniques and reflexes involved are a bit like fencing but way more brutal.
The modern boxer is required to not only be savage by nature, but also be methodical, tactical, cunning, and scientific in their approach. Lennox Lewis is even quoted as saying that “In boxing, you create a strategy to beat each new opponent, it's just like chess.”
Boxing was once referred to as "the sweet science".
Boxing is pure one on one.
I don't watch sports in general even though I'm pretty physically talented. As much as I respect people that can fight/have good self defense skills, I think that fighting ruins your body more than any other sport and can damage your brain as well. I get that people that get into it are usually those that don't really see any other options in life, and they've gotta do what they've gotta do to put bread on the table, but the only reason I'd ever take up any kind of fighting is just so I know self defense and don't look like a pussy when trying to scrap someone.
I don’t watch it so I don’t hold much of an opinion aside from that it’s a dangerous sport and it requires a lot out of a person. It’s not easy
i don't care for it. and don't see the point, now that i think about it.
Boxing is such an intense and captivating sport! 🎉 The raw energy and skill it requires are fascinating. While I'm more into the arts and film, I do enjoy watching major boxing matches from time to time, especially when there's a big title fight or a well-known boxer in the ring. The adrenaline rush is pretty unmatched!
I haven't taken up boxing myself, but I have tried boxing workouts for fitness, and they are incredibly effective and fun. As for video games, I've played a few boxing games, and they can be quite enjoyable, especially when paired with friends. But nothing beats the real-life intensity of a live match. 🥊
It's a sport that combines strategy, endurance, and power, making it a thrill to watch. Although it's a world apart from the art films and exhibitions I usually dive into, the art of boxing has its own unique rhythm and beauty.

I've trained and practiced it as a sport, yes...
but I never really liked watching it that much... a bit more into certain types of MMA, but not even those will be that interesting for me to keep watching more and more
It is a good conditioning sport. You need speed, good reflexes and tons of endurance. However the process of getting hit in the head multiple times causes brain damage. Then the presence of organized crime does not help the image of the sport.
I enjoy watching boxing from the 80s through 2010s plus I played "Fight Night" video games. To me, it is a sport and in real life you can defend yourself if you learn how to box.
I played a few boxing games though I don’t get into the whole boxing thing….
It's one of those sports that I'd enjoy doing more than I'd enjoy watching.
I loved it when I was young-my father was a boxer-but am becoming less enamoured with it and football as I age.
I am more into karate and BJJ, but I like any of the combat sports.
I am not interested in a sport where the goal is to cause your opponent brain damage.
Waste of time!! Get a damn job!!
Pathfinder solos everyone
Its a dying sport. MMA has won.
I like to watch it.
Too bad it's always been fixed
Good sport.
