Is it cool for adults to play video games?

If adults play video games and their spare time but they still work and pay their bills and our responsible are you cool with that or would you tell them they need to grow up that's for kids? Was recently told I need to go up cuz I still play video games in my spare time. What are your thoughts

I don’t see an issue with this.

Some people crochet, some people read books, some people collect baseball cards, some people collect shoes, some people collect stamps, some people get really into gardening then there are people who are gamers.

Here Is My Take: Adult Gaming Is Common. ESRB Rating System literally exists because of it. Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Just Cause 3, Mafia Definitive Edition, DOOM, DOOM Eternal, etc. are all M Rated because it is for Mature Audiences and Discretion is advised. Now research all those game sales and it will be millions of copies, adult gaming has a market therefore is cool for the hobbyist. Discussion over.

There is nothing wrong with playing games as long as responsibilities are taken care of first. So what if they want to spend 8 hours on their day off playing a game. It is their choice. It is much better of a choice than people that drink alcohol (majority of the USA population) or that obsess over social media all day.
