Is having a built in DVD player in your HDtv a nice thing to have?

It’s handy to have but the problem is when it breaks now you got a TV that the dvd player doesn’t work and then you gotta hook up a separate DVD player so you might as well just have a monitor. I still use DVDs since streaming isn’t always reliable and the services discontinue a lot of them so I like to have a lot of my movies on DVD since they also have the bonus features which you never get when you’ve been streaming movies , it’s also good when there’s no Internet available

They usually last awhile, I used to have a small tv with a vhs player, was good on family trips

I have a tV in my summer house that has one. It is handy but it would be just as easy to have a separate one.
