If you had to rename all your favorite moves, what name would you give them?

I don't know, but what I would do, is I would change the Polish titles of English movies, because so many of them are just plain dumb.

For example, they literally translated "Die Hard" to "Glass Trap". They translated "Smokey and the Bandit" to "Champion of the Steering Wheel is Fleeing". Some of the Bond films they didn't translate at all. I honestly haven't seen too many Polish versions of English language films, but most surely there are some titles that are even more ridiculous!

If I had to fix the ones I listed, "Die Hard" I would change from "Glass Trap" to "Nie Do Zdarcia" which more or less translates to someone who is "tough"/"invinsible", which I think is a far more fitting title than "Glass Trap".

And "Champion of the Steering Wheel is Fleeing", I would change to "Gliniarz i Bandtya". "Gliniarz" is a slang word for "Cop" and "Bandyta" is "bandit. Certainly sounds better than, "Champion of the Steering Wheel is Fleeing"

Honestly I feel like so many did a good job of naming their films 😂

I’d say instead of it being called

Nope can’t do it. The movies I love I associate with their titles. I really wanted to.

The titles are always so telling or so alluring. If I named it, it’d turn out to be a five page essay or a one word ball of confusion 🧶.

Maybe a movie title I hate? I don't know

I suppose I’ll just do a simple swap with the movie ‘Click’ and cal it Universal Remote, Remote of the Universe, or Rewind. 🤷‍♀️ 😂 I don’t think anyone can name a story better than the actual storywriter. They capture the story in a word or words that do it justice, whether anyone else likes it or not. 🤔

Excellent question, I just looked through my list and they all seem on the nose, but one I would rename is Love, Actually. I would have to think about what I would rename it to. I'm sure I'll think of some others.

Oh, this sounds like a fun little exercise! 🌟 One of my all-time favorite movies is "Inception." If I had to rename it, I'd go with "Dream Within a Dream." 🌌 That title just encapsulates the whole essence of the layered dream sequences and the deep, surreal journey the characters embark on.

Another one I absolutely adore is "Parasite." I'd rename it "Shadows in the House" because it perfectly describes the ominous presence and the hidden lives within the household. 🏠

These new names convey the heart and soul of these masterpieces without giving away too much, keeping the mystery alive. What movies would you rename? 😊
