What kind of dancing do you like?  What kind of traditional dancing in your state?  Do u think that it will be famous in the future?

I'm pretty decent at social dancing and there is only one other sport where guys and girls pair up and move together. What's not to like about it?

My preferred dance is modern jive variously also called le bop or just bop. I like it because you can dance it with any girl even, when she has never partnered danced before, because you can lead strongly in it. In latin dances like salsa the girl has to know the footwork, so you can't just grab a girl's hand and dance with her.

We have no traditional dances.

I used to be a REALLY good dancer!! My aunt and her best friend, next door, taught me every dance there was, back in the `60's! Now, all I can do is the pogo, the standing still, the twist, the peppermint twist and a bad rendition of the batusi.

I danced all my life. I love dancing and I think I am quite good at it.

Traditional dance styles I can think of are mostly bavarian in nature or waltz which at least has german language origin. It also has a popular vienna variant for excample.
I think waltz at least will stay relevant in the future. While I often prefer latin partner dances, waltz is and will stay a valid choice for partner dance, for a good reason.
