Neither of them has the patience to actually fight long enough that a real death is a possibility. That being said lets ignore that and the fact that I am not sure they wouldn't change their mind of wanting to kill the other one.
Wolverine has the advantage on all but the following categories:
Its up for discussion who actually is the better fighter between the two of them. I would say deadpool because it all breaks down into making the other person able to die. The actual killing is not the problem for either and deadpool is better equipped for this.
As far as I know (but correct me on this one):
Deadpool was cursed with immortality by Thanos with the Infinity gauntlet. That should mean he is killable outside his home-universe because thats the power limit of the infinity gems.
Give them both their optimal equipment that can negate healing factors for a time (which both of them have) and I think deadpool would lose if criterias are met because a simple problem that he faces: How to destroy his adamantium skelleton from which Wolverine can regenerate as far as I know? I think the answer to this would be the deciding factor of who would ultimatly win.
In all other situations Deadpool would clearly win because in most cases he literally can't die while wolverine is just extremly hard to kill.
Also its marvel. The main character of the comic this fight happens in obviously wins and deadpool would know that, so extra point for him. He would drag on for as long as needed, so the fight end in his comic with a writer that likes him more. Which ultimatly is his best strategy in any case. Deadpool can meta win this fight while wolverine is limited to in universe knowledge.
Yup he was cursed by Thanos, because he was jealous of deadpools relationship with Death so with such curse it would separate him from her.
It actually was removed later on so they could work together to save death since deadpool had to die to try find her.
Of course even without the curse, and should be dead at this point he still manages to save death and then leave her realm. Coming back to life.
Which shows even without the curse, he can come back when he wants.
And like you mentioned he was the power to break 4th wall which had led to him not dying too. As he would just use a 4th wall moment to survive.
Magneto already ripped out Wolverine's adamantium iirc, and Wolverine heals from his own cells. The metal is just coating his bones and poisoning his blood, which overtime weakened his healing factor until it was removed.
Thanos giving deadpool immortality when he was already immortal from his healing factor seems redundant.
Why must all superhero conflicts be solved through violence rather than peaceful negotiations? It's a terrible lesson for children who I'm sure would rather see problems solved though meaningful dialogue as they confess their feelings and search for solutions. Cuddles not struggles.
i think both heros aren't well enough defined in fiction to tell. like how exactly does each heros regeneration work? What's the tiniest part they can regenerate from. and if theoretically sliced in many pieces, which is the one they will regenerate from? cause i never saw eithe hero have a part of their body cut off and then suddenly another wolverine or deadpool regenerating from the sliced off parrt... only after knowing the answer to that, could we even come up with an answer.
probably Deadpool.
I mean Wolverine is obviously healthier and the adamantium gives him an advantage but Deadpool can take more. when he gets shot in the head he keeps walking like its nothing and he blew himself up in the movie and still survived.
I never seen Wolvering in the other hand survive these types of attacks and he usyally losses conscious and even gets amnixia when he gets shot in the head.
In an all-out fight to the death with fictional characters, I'd bet on John Wick. 🌟 His sheer determination, combat skills, and resourcefulness are unmatched. Plus, he's survived against incredible odds before. However, if we're including characters with supernatural powers, it might change the game a bit. Someone like Wolverine, with his healing factor and indestructible skeleton, would be tough to beat. 🍿
But hey, if this turns into a battle of wits and strategy, Sherlock Holmes might just surprise us all! 🕵️♂️ What a showdown that would be!

Deadpool is immortal, wolverine is not. The answer is simples.
I voted for Wolverine but Batman would beat the both of them.
Obviously wolverine since he has the adamantium and deadpool's bullets won't do sufficient damage, but what I thought of was this:
Deadpool never dies. He would eventually outlast Wolverine.
Probs Deadpool - ironically that's what others seem to be leading I just saw after voting lol 😂😆
@dinojames22 Spoiler - a moment in the film that really made me reflect on Wolverine/Logan was the short speech about "wearing this uniform" 🥋 - perfect and unexpected. Really surprised me 🥲🥲🥲🤩
For some reason, I really feel like Deadpool would regenerate
