I’ve been a fan since the age of 7. I still have a lot of the GameBoy games and a few for the Nintendo Switch. I play them occasionally. I don’t really follow any of the new stuff though. I still play Pokemon Go every once in a while.

I've played a few of them but I tend to one and done pokemon games (I beat the story then stop playing), so its hard to justify the purchase because the gameplay isn't good enough to replay the story once I know what happens.

The pvp doesn't hold my attention well.

Don't get me wrong, video games are a huge thing for me, and I like the pokemon universe, but they would need to add real time combat to hook me on the games.

I think one of the n64 pokemon games did that? It was either pokken tournament or pokemon stadium, I can't remember.
