Ha ha.

My wife told me that I shouldn't watch The Joker.
I haven't.

Years ago, she also told me that I should quit reading Dean Koontz novels.
I did so.
I think that she made the right call on the Dean Koontz novels.
They took me to a very dark place within my own mind.

I didn't question her pronouncement regarding The Joker.

I guess that I won't be seeing The Joker 2, either.

I still have not seen the first part, even though I eventually want to. There is just too much overacting in these comic book adaptations that it's too difficult for me to get into it.

Yes and literally 80% of the movie just musicals. The guy sitting next to me was like “omfg” and left like, 20 minutes in. I was keeping count halfway through and got lost at song 8 or something. Literally a compilation of every Disney song in the old movies. That’s what this felt like. Also no references to Batman whatsoever

I had planned on seeing it but when I watched the reviews on the news this morning, they gave it a C. Said it was almost like a musical. Plus I think too most people would rather see a no name play Harley Quinn than lady Gaga. She needs to stay in her lane.

Something about the trailer kinda rubs me wrong, a little too much glorification, a bit too grandiose. I haven't actually watched all of the first one yet, but it seemed like more of an underdog feel.
