I don’t watch much TV anymore, really. I watched Nick At Night growing up, on Nickelodeon. So I watched all the old shows like Dennis The Menace, Mr. Ed, My Three Sons, I Dream Of Jeannie, The Donna Reed Show, Bewitched, The Smothers Brothers, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Patty Duke Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Lassie, Make Room For Daddy…. all that old stuff. Always gave me an affinity for mid-century America, the cleaned-up TV representation of it, anyway.

Last I heard, Nick At Night was playing MY childhood sitcoms: Full House, Family Matters, all that TGIF lineup from the mid-80s through the mid-90s, which makes me feel old as hell😂 It’s like when I watch sports games on TV, and the cut-out-to-a-commercial break music plays, and it’s some song I liked as a teenager that my parents used to yell at me to turn down. Now it’s suitable for CBS, lmao

Oooh ooh! GSN! Love watching Gene Rayburn and all my faves (Brett Butler, Charles Nelson Reilly, Fanny Flagg, Avery, Nipsy Russell)…on Match Game. Richard Dawson is creepy but family feud is awesome. Price is Right. Deal or No Deal (was that Gene Rayburn too?).

My daughter loves the Game Show Network. I used to like Concentration with Hugh Downs. I had the home version of the game. We had it up in Maine and my cousins an me used to play games if it was raining out. We played that Concentration game so many times we could solve the puzzles on the first spin because we had them all memorized. When my cousin had the house renovated he must have tossed all those games and books we used when we were little.

I'm a fan of MeTV.
I enjoy watching the Chicago-based Svengoolie creep show host on Saturday nights.
I don't know if it's shown only on a regional basis, so some people may not receive it.
They somewhat recently expanded the "Svengoolie" content and added, I believe, three new studio characters to the show.
My favorite of them is Nostalgiaforatoo.
He's a frickin' freak-ass looking, joke-spewing complete nutjob.
I love him.
