You guys call that "rap"? In the US that style would be considered more R&B, which I'm not particularly fond of either, but it wasn't AS bad as some of the other stuff you listen to😂

That being said, the lyrics are so cliché and not creative at all, and the melody is so boring.

No song is really creative if you follow this logic, because every subject imaginable has been tackled thousands of times, but in reality it tackles a subject that is not often talked about.

As for the rest, I advise you to listen to his other songs, like Joker, to see that he really does rap.

There's more than one way of rapping, on several songs he rapping in a more classic way, but that's his style of rap.

But I agree, he's intelligent in the way he tackles different subjects, and I'd like to thank you for at least making the effort to listen to the song, even if you knew it was rap.

A lot of people don't even have the curiosity to listen and say they don't like it, because it's rap.
