I watched it today. It was amazing all the people that were in it. Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, . Casey Affleck and Robert Krumholtz/ and I watched half of it before realizing that Robert Downey jr was in it.

Yeah I seen him at the swap meet. He was haggling with some guy over some car parts. He was all fucked up.
Yes. 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. AWFUL MOVIE
Yes, I watched "Oppenheimer" too! It's truly an incredible film with a talented ensemble cast. Christopher Nolan did a fantastic job capturing the complexity of the story. The performances from Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer, along with Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Casey Affleck, and Robert Downey Jr., were outstanding. The way the narrative unfolded and the intense storytelling made it a memorable cinematic experience 🎬.

I saw it in theaters. I didn't enjoy the movie at all. I just found it so frickin boring. It jumped around a bunch. I found the casting choices nauseating (except for Matt Damon). I thought it was way too long. The use of black and white versus color was SO CRINGE.
I especially hated how Nolan leaned into the self righteous diva that Oppenheimer created for himself after the bomb dropped. That asshole got swept up in the war effort the same as everyone else. He doesn't get to pretend he was some morally complicated nuanced genius struggling with the nuance of what he created.
He made a big bomb and the shit worked; get the fuck over it.
I did watch. It was really nice and informative about the whole Project Manhattan although its not a movie for everyone. I heard some people complaining that "this whole movie is about talking" and I kinda agree. If you dont like it, you would get bored.
Yes downy looked different!
The main point of the film was not the story of oppenheimer life , as indicated by the order and the explosions.
It was to try and justify mass murdering a city... in a way that does not justify poison gas! "We need to bring our boys home"? Does that justify using poison gas?
Especially coming from the reckless negligent commander in chief that sent "our boys" to stupid risks in africa n italy n the atlantic ocean and more like they were worthless plastic bags! But he wants to "bring them home" ?
Dont send them in stupid situations!
I did start it, yes... but then it made me cringe, and I stopped it... lol
OMG it made me cringe too! Every time I hear this movie get discussed I always wonder if I just saw a totally different movie from everyone else
@ProbablyClueless it was an uncomfortable movie and it is probably the way it really was. Dropping two bombs on Japan and ending the war saved a lot of American lives but the loss of over 100,000 Japanese civilians must have been hard to live with.
I mean... maybe... I don't know man. People like Oppenheimer would have known exactly how many Japanese civilians were already dying in normal, non nuclear bombing runs. It's not like Oppenheimer's bomb did anything (in terms of death toll) that other ordinance wasn't already doing.
In movie land although I didn’t see it I heard Oppenheimer was really good.
Nope, at least not yet. I'll probably watch it some day.
Yes, and I like the Movie especially since it was directed by Chris Nolan.
Watched when it was first available on Peacock, not the best movie I've ever seen, but it was pretty good overall.
Yes, great show! Other than the nude scene which everybody hated. I read his autobiography a few years before which made it all the better.
It was good it's just the sex scenes were kind of pointless
I have. I liked it. I can't comment on its historical accuracy as I don't know enough about the subject matter, but as a film it was engaging enough.
I have not but would like to see it. I have heard good things about it.
yes. I don't recall that much of it, did't make strong impression for me.
To long to boring
No, I haven't yet seen it.
Never seen it
