He was someone that was struggling with many personal issues and the root of it all being from drug addiction. He had tried to better himself but unfortunately never got to the point that he needed to be in, and I think if he had we would have seen a completely different side of him than the last few years... because deep down he seemed like a caring and good person. He was also soo talented and contributed a lot to 1D's success, as did the other boys, all 5 of them were integral parts of the band and each brought something special to it.

He was still in the process of finding his true self...

I just wish more people had taken into consideration the struggles he was dealing with - his family and friends did, but much of the public simply scrutinized him. I don't mean that anyone should have justified his behavior, but just should have remembered that he was a human being like anyone else, dealing with many. He admitted that drug addiction was a big problem for him. It was good to see the internet realizing that it had failed Justin Bieber, bullying him during his worst time without knowing the full context of what he was going through, but sad to see that it didn't learn the lesson with other artists like Liam at the time.

Just hope he's doing better wherever he is now.

So very sad, my teen self is mourning hard. The drug problem amongst high profile people is insane. I knew something would happen to him given the recent allegations and how he had been acting over the last month. I thought he would just have a little overdose and go to rehab to and have a reality check for him perhaps. Unfortunately the worst possible thing happened.

I HaTE seeing the videos of his dad and the 1D security specialist /tour manager Paul on the balcony trying to make sense of how it happened.

Yes , read about it here actually , and its very sad to see any young man of this age , particularly with a son , die in this manner , very sad , he is a talented guy , and another that a harsh industry , and ideal has taken.. RIP Liam , far too young , and so sad for those close , should not have happened , and yes again the myth that cocaine is harmless , no matter what colour.
