When I was a kid it was John Glenn. I wanted to be an astronaut and John Glenn was an American hero. He was the first man to orbit the Earth and was a Korean War hero and a US Senator. I visited the Smithsonian and actually sat in the Friendship7 space capsule. I will never forget it.
