Do you ever go the the theatre? If so how often do go? If not why not?

I had an uncle who was the treasurer for a chain of theaters. There were 4 of them, all in the theater district downtown. My brother and I used to go to a matinee on a Saturday. We saw "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown", Godspell, Hair, and a biography about George M Cohan and a few others. The theatre is not as popular as it used to be and I think that a couple of these venues have been closed. My uncle passed away many years ago and i have not gone since.
Still, I am glad that I got to experience this

I still love going to the theater... a drink and some butter pop corn in a comfy seat... hell yes. Problem is there are not many movies worth going to see lately. I am so done with DC/Marvel movies! lol

Mainly because I rarely hear about interesting plays in my area
But also because I don’t have any theatre enthusiast to go with

No, I don't. There would have to be a special reason like taking a kid (like my younger brothers when they were younger) out for a fun time, because I'm much more comfortable watching it at home. Hell of a lot cheaper too.

I do sometimes but it's not a common occurrence. I'll go with friends or (once in a blue moon) when there's a movie I really really want to watch to the max

Theater as in cinema or theater as in live theater, Broadway? Both but less and less often these days.
