Does anyone else agree that the new Hip Hop music out today is absolutely horrible music?

I am not a fan of hip hop , but some old school Hip hop is ok to listen to , because you can actually hear what the singer is saying , but todays’ hip hop is absolutely horrible to me, it sounds like a broken record playing the same beat over and over , and a singer you can barely understand what the hell he is saying. Please explain why people consider this music? I don’t get it , I been a fan of music for years from all different genres , but this is absolute garbage music to me. Nothing but a headache I would listen to country music over this shit

i only like rock all that almost all i listen to is retro once i did listen to britney spears and lady gaga but outgrew them

Yea rock is my favorite as well , but I do like all types of music from all genres of music for the most part , but I literally threw in the towel on this new hip hop garbage that sounds like constant noise

I like all genres of rock , my favorite is progressive rock but I also like classic rock , hard rock and soft rock as well, and some alternative rock , I also like some Metal , as well as EDM , techno , I am not big into country music but there is some I can listen to , same goes for rap and hip hop I only like some.

Rap has ALWAYS been horrible ever since its inception back in `86!!! So far, the only one I like is that one by Jay Z with clips from "It's a hard knock life".

Neither can I! I never consider it music. And, NO, I'm NOT like my parents in that, anything not made when I was growing up is garbage! I have over 62,000 records of nearly every genre from as far back as at least 120 years!! It'd be a LOT easier for me to rattle off the 5 or 7 genres I DON'T like than those I like.
