I went to see Creed in 2012. It was good, but I could barely hear Mark Tremonti's guitar the entire night. That was kind of disappointing because I learned to play guitar because of him. I got another and better chance in 2014 though, because I saw Alter Bridge at the same venue and scored a backstage pass. I got to shake his hand and tell him that he inspired me to play.

"Ah, thanks man!"

And I'm just thinking "'Man!' He called me 'man', like we're best friends or something" 😆
