Donnie Darko. Hands down. I actually started watching it twice, and gave up after like 10 minutes because I wasn't in the mood. When I finally did watch it... when it was over: I sat there for a second... grabbed the remote, and watched it again immidiately. Then I went and watched all the director commentary, and deleted scenes. (something I have never done before, or since... with any movie).
It's fucking brilliant.

It has changed over the years, but as far as a stand-alone movie, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood hits every mark for me. Bablyon is very close to first but solidly second.
