In general, I might skip very old movies with an ımdb rating below 6.5 I can't name my favorite movie without breaking the first rule, you know the one 👊🧼.

It has to be Casablanca. It was a good 40 years ahead of it's time in depictions of relationships. It has some very funny scenes... "I am shocked, shocked to find there is gambling going on in this establishment" ... "Here are your winnings, sir", etc. And it has some immortal lines... "Here's looking at you kid", "Play it Sam. Play As Time Goes By", "Well Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship", etc, etc.
