So what do you think? Who wins in a battle royal?
Of the core Marvel and DC heroes, who would win in a battle royal?
So what do you think? Who wins in a battle royal?
I'd have to say Iron Man, not for any practical reason, but simply because the writers have made him the "pull shit out of your ass" hero.
I mean, I like Iron Man, but when the writers go, "Oh no! We've written ourselves into a corner by making this ordinary human fight a literal god! I guess we'll give him the Godbuster Suit. Problem solved," it gets a little ridiculous.
Now, this squishy little human can go toe to toe with literal Celestial beings, and Celestials are generally far stronger than any of the core heroes.
If he was losing, the writers would just give him the "Super Saiyan Limit Break Magnificent Armor" or something.
Squirrel Girl.
She isn't really "core" but she wins regardless, because she is Squirrel Girl and Squirrel Girl ALWAYS wins. No Exceptions.
My personal favorite to win!
Mho right here
The concept of a battle royal between core Marvel and DC heroes sparks exciting debates. Considering the cinematic portrayals, Scarlet Witch and Superman are formidable contenders. Despite her powers being toned down in the movies, Scarlet Witch possesses reality-altering abilities. On the other hand, Superman’s strength and resilience are legendary, although vulnerability to magic makes him susceptible. If classic comic powers are considered, Scarlet Witch could potentially outmaneuver many heroes with her vast magical prowess and strategic intellect. Ultimately, it might come down to environment and quick thinking 🦸♀️🦸♂️.

Sentry isn't a core hero. He's more like a God on the level of the Justice League's Spectre. Scarlet witch is powerful enough but in dr strange 2 she's a villian and more powerful because she's using the Darkholde.
Superman has defeated Thor, captain marvel & the Hulk. My money is on DC because although most DC heroes have a glaring weakness like Superman to Kryptonite, red sun radiation or magic they are pound for pound generally much more powerful. Like
Thor vs Superman
Iron man vs green lantern
Quicksilver vs Flash
Submariner vs Aquaman
Black widow vs Black Canary
Vision vs martian manhunter
Captain Marvel vs Captain Atom
I don't think that Scarlet Witch and Superman are the most powerful Marvel / DC heroes.
How about Doctor Manhattan VS The Silver Surfer?
I mean, I'd argue that Dr. Manhattan is not the core DC universe, although he was in a DC movie technically.
Silver Surfer in the comics got his head bitten off by a zombified Hulk, and he is ruled by Galactus, so I don't see him winning.
Both Silver Surfer and Dr Manhattan have powers to destroy Superman.
Of that, I have no doubt, but I wasn't banking on Superman winning anyway, which is why I said Void/Sentry would take him out, moreso the Void. It's a battle royal though meaning heroes from the same universe can fight each other and technically Superman and the rest of the DC main core were taken down by plans Batman made as contingency plans (although in that case I think it was used by.. I wanna say Lex Luthor but I could be wrong). So, with time, does that mean Batman would win? Lmao
I agree, Scarlet Witch can defeat Superman, because he is not immune to magic.
Sure, lol, Batman is smart enough to win.
By the way, do you think that some of the non DC / non Marvel heroes would be able to defeat Superman?
Maybe the Phantom, Spawn, Supreme, or The Shadow?
I dont know much about them tbh aside from a little about Spawn unfortunately
I could be very wrong with this but... isn't Marvel powers more on the galactic/universe scale... compared to DC which tends to be more "earth-bound"? in general...
You know how DC used to make the covers for Superman first before asking writers to make up a story around the cover?
No idea how it should happen, but I would ask someone to make Howard the duck win. Underrated gem from Marvel.
Superman would beat any of the Marvel team and Batman is the best tactician. I like them in a fight.
Deadpool never dies. He always wins... in the end.
Rogue Curb stomps:
Only if she can get in range to actually touch someone. Magic users can usually find ways to keep their distance either by teleportation or restraining her magically.
Now a Rogue who has managed to touch one of the stronger heroes stands more of a chance, but if I remember correctly and its been a LONG time since I've kept up with Rogue but can't she also be incapacitated with her victims memories?
She has complete control over her powers now, and can even absorb at range now. She KILLED Scarlet Witch in a recent issue and then later when SW was resurrected, Rogue gave her powers back to her. lol.
Guess it just depends on who's writing the comic. If a telepath got to her first, they could disable her before she had a chance to do anything. Probably the same for SW
Batman for no reason :P
Superman is the best
Trick question.. the answer is God but Batman is God.
Thor if he hits everyone with thunder
Obviously DC
DC 4 sure
Kang.
