As a child, what was your favorite cartoon?

To be honest, I was never into the cartoons my brothers used to watch. I was more enthralled in game shows and became really good at useless trivia as a kid lol

How about for you though? Did you have a favorite cartoon when you were growing up, and for bonus points, do you still watch cartoons today?

The 60's were a GREAT time for cartoons. As a lad, I loved "Ruff (a dog) and Reddy" (Ruff's cat buddy), "The Jetsons," "The Flintstones" (one of my buddies, award winning children's author Christopher P. Curtis, hails from Flint, whose residents are often called "Flintstones"),"Magilla Gorilla," "Huckleberry Hound," "Cool McCool" (at that time, the Cincinnati Reds had a hard-throwing left-handed reliever named Bill "Cool" McCool),"Milton The Monster," "Secret Squirrel and Minute Mouse," Hoppity Hooper," "Wally Gator," "Deputy Dawg," need I continue?

Looney Tunes in general, and Roadrunner & Coyote in particular were favorites. I also liked Speed Racer, in part because it was so strange (it was a Japanese amine that was chopped up and often had the stories changed to make it more accessible to western audiences, but even a little kid could figure out that the visuals didn't always make sense with the story).

I was more of a reader as a kid, but as very young I enjoyed care bears and then another show I remember loving but nothing else.

When I got older, it was Dexters laboratory, rugrats and animation movie called war of the birds.

I think I watch more cartoons and kids shows now than I did as a kid. Right now going through 2 - which reminds me I need to see a little Ninjago before my work weekend.

I liked a lot of different ones. Most of the standarts like ducktales, tom and jerry or animes like pokemon (if that counts).
I think the most impressionable one for me would be kim possible though.
Or while only a movie the most quotable.."Pull the lever kronk! Wrong lever! "

When I was a child, my favorite cartoon was "Sailor Moon." I was captivated by the magical adventures and strong female characters. It sparked my interest in anime, which I still enjoy today. I love the artistry and storytelling found in both classic and new animated series. The  Road Runner  cartoons. It was always funny to see Wile E. Coyote using elaborate - at least, that's what he thought they were - but ultimately unsuccessful traps in an attempt to catch the Road Runner. I wonder who would provide the tools and gadgets produced by ACME that the Coyote was using. Nowadays, maybe some obscure online platform selling shady products.

We had a variety of things after school... 3 Stooges (not for me) Warner Brothers, Bugs Bunny and the rest... those were good, but I also enjoyed "The Monkees" sitcom about a musical group

The Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Show was my favorite cartoon to wake up and watch on Saturday 50 years ago and Bugs Bunny was my favorite and the Coyote was a blast but I hardly watch cartoons anymore
