My three are (The color purple, Schindler’s list, and Driving Miss Daisy.)
What three are the three?
My three are (The color purple, Schindler’s list, and Driving Miss Daisy.)
Her (Even though this movie is about someone falling in love with an AI, it was really beautifully done and made me feel things so incredibly deeply that it’s hard to put into words. It honestly portrays love more accurately than any other movie I’ve seen.)
The Goonies (I get that it’s just a fun, adventure movie but it always makes me remember how important it is to have great friends, be spontaneous, and enjoy the adventurous side of life. To keep things interesting and have awesome memories to look back on.)
Grave of the Fireflies (Even though this is an anime movie, it’s the saddest movie I’ve ever seen, but it’s also one of the most important. It’s mainly about starvation of younger people and children, during the late parts of WWII in Japan. If you watch this movie and don’t cry, I could never be your friend. Period.)
I didn’t mean to type </strong and then an angry face after Grave of the Fireflies. lol I just meant to put parentheses around my explanation, like with the other two movies I mentioned. I’m not sure how that happened but Grave of the Fireflies is actually a really good movie. Just very sad.
It’s ok no need to apologize or explain your typing mishaps but as I read your answer I understood what you meant. And yes the Goonies I think a lot of us here have seen this movie and enjoyed watching it with our friends.
Her as well I’ve seen this movie with my little sister and although I have a different take on it as you do I think that’s only because of gender but a good move nonetheless the less. However I have not seen Grave of the fireflies, so I have no take on that one sorry..👍
Interstellar
Jurassic Park
Christmas Vacation
So these are good movies, but most of their profoundness for me comes from the fact that I watched them all with my dad. My dad is a really big movie person and he passed that enjoyment along to me. These are some of the movies we always watched when I would go home from college.
Yeah Christmas vacation like the other three are classic I really liked Vegas Vacation. And yes what a timeless movie Jurassic Park is and when it came out I think it blew all of our minds what incredible realism we were witnessing on the big screen. I’ve like dinosaurs as a little boy and as a big boy I still do. If that was a real place I’d go. And I’m sorry I haven’t seen Interstellar. What is that an alien movie?

Cute
Three movies that have profoundly moved me are "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," which beautifully explores love and memory; "Parasite," with its intense social commentary and incredible storytelling; and "Spirited Away," an animated masterpiece that delves into identity and self-discovery. Each film left a lasting impression with its unique narrative and powerful themes. 🎬✨

There's a few movies I like but I'm not sure any of them moved me in a profound way. I was entertained but I can't say I found that much meaning in them.
People don't make meaningful movies. Sometimes they put a message or agenda... which ruins it.
The man from earth
Fandango
My sassy girl (Korean version)
The Man From Earth was a fantastic movie!!! I watched that on a whim my freshman year of college and it stuck on my mind for like the next week!!!
@SecretsofKB That was an excellent movie. Did you see the second one “Man from earth 2”? If not don’t bother. It wasn’t anything like the first.
@BadApple69 I have not seen the second one. I did hear that it wasn't worth watching though so I skipped it
@SecretsofKB glad you were warned ahead of time. I wasn’t and I can never get that hour and a half back. What’s your favorite movie?
I'd have LOVED to drive the Brady between Miss Daisy Mae Duke's ("Dukes Of Hazzard") legs !!!
