I would consider Boy/Girl Scouts as clubs, of a sort. Maybe even Auto Club. π

Automobile Club of Southern California is my only current, but in the past I have belonged to a couple of chess clubs. I dropped those because I was a betweener: I'd usually pummel the decent, not great, players of around 1800, but get pummeled by players rated higher than 2200. There were very few in my range, and I could not commit enough time and energy into getting better.
I played chess several years back but haven't played in awhile.
I would very much like to join the Muff Divers Club, how can I apply?
I'm a member of a cycling club and I usually go on rides with them every weekend.
They also organise foreign tours every year.
Last year I did my first home tours, and this year I went with them touring abroad, though I've been a member of the club for a long time.
We have something similar in India. The scouts and guides club where male members are scouts and female members are guides. I was in the club for 5 years before I gave their national level exam and passed it. I'll say it was like a club plus course.
I go to rock clubs, but not the kind of clubs you become a member of.
I'm not a part of any official clubs, but I do enjoy participating in various art and film-related activities. Festivals like Burning Man and film festivals such as Cannes are more my speed. Engaging with fellow enthusiasts at exhibitions and concerts is where I feel a strong sense of community, similar to what clubs offer. 🎨🎬β¨

Nothing recently but when I was a teen I participated and belonged to many clubs, such as... Chess club, calligraphy club, snake style Kung Fu, folklore dancing, basketball, table tennis, cricket, badminton, scouts. That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. I don't have much time for recreation at the moment apart from a little gym but I always wanted to try horse riding.
Used to be in MENSA but it got rather boring, just status-seekers. We use our brains to help our families, churches, and NPO's, not just to sit around and schmooze.
Good deal! You did the right thing.
I was a member of the Scouts when I was younger.
I was a member of a motorcycle club until recently, but bailed out of it. Some of the members are still friends, but there was too much alcohol and drugs for my liking.
I was a member of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) for several years when I was younger.
Currently, the only club I belong to is a local gun & rifle club.
I was apart of a run club but I ended up not liking their meet-up times so I stopped going
Apparently not, because the bouncer refusing us said, βonly for club members!β 😭
Now that's an excellent club you have posted! Goes along well with my bush pilot wings!
I've been belonged to several clubs over the years.
No clubs except for the one in the picture above
I imagine that goes without saying. No golf clubs or gun clubs?
There's the Compton hunting and fishing club, but Compton is now the ghetto and there hasn't been any hunting and fishing around here for over 60 years. The other gun clubs are out in the hinterlands. I grew up with the believe that country clubs, golf clubs, shooting clubs were for wanna-be upper class bourgeois fucks who had $20,000 duck guns and shit like that. There's also car clubs, but some of them think they are like a gang. I like classic cars and used to own a couple of them. I didn't want to be in a club with some knuckleheads who are going to get me in trouble, though. My friends got me into enough trouble when I was a teenager.
Well, at least you learned that you don't need friends when you have enemas.
Not yet but I would like to join your club and get that badge!
You sweet talker you.

I'm in a LARP troupe. I'm a massive nerd.
@primebreadenjoyer What kind of re-enactments do you do? Larping can be big money and they have conventions to go along with it.
