What video game do you think would make a great movie or series?

Could it be done well with live action or must it be animated?
I think it’s fair to say that video game screen adaptations have long been hit or miss. Some have been done well, but most not so well at all. There’s an animated version of “Tekken” that barely whet my appetite back in 1998. Then there was the live action travesty from 2010. Don’t even get me started on the cheese factories that were “Street Fighter” and “Double Dragon”.
However, i really liked the first season of “The Last of Us”. Also, “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” (2001) was pretty good at the time, but the 2018 version was so forgettable that i started watching it recently only to realize that i had already seen it. 😂😂😂
Let’s pretend that they won’t mess up even one more video game screen adaptation. Which game or games do you think would make a great movie or series, if done respectfully?

GTA 4 would make a good movie.

State of Decay 1 & 2 could make a good TV series where not all the zombies are slow "walkers" that really wouldn't pose much of a threat at all and would realistically all have been killed in the first week.

Not the game story itself but the lore from destiny would be great as a TV show.

I think “InFamous” would make a great series. Each game could be a new season. Each mission could be an episode.

It depends on how they portrayed him, guess. Either could be done well. Make him an antihero with redemption arcs. InFamous, at its core, is a revenge story. Those always make for engaging stories to me.
