I’m open to all suggestions because they’re usually bad so I’m hoping wrong

In terms of general quality: the Witcher TV show (Wiedźmin, in Polish) is probably the best, but it's still not great; it only lasted one season.
In terms of total enjoyment, the Street Fighter movie. No, it's not *good*, in any sense of the word, but it has Raul Julia as the epitome of hammy, campy glory. And he took the role because he knew he was dying, and his grandkids loved the game, so they'd always be able to see grandpa commemorating something they loved, PLUS it meant that the press would leave him alone, so he could spend the last few months of his life in private with his family. As an additional perk, it showed how tough M. Bison really is; he can even kill the people PORTRAYING him.
In terms of faithfulness to the source material- no question here, it's the Postal movie. This was the one and only time anyone has ever heard that Uwe Boll was directing a movie and thought "Good, he's the correct choice for this project". It's cheap, cheesy, kinda incoherent, and the humor's brow is so low it looks up at Morlorcks, but that's exactly how the games were, so it fits perfectly.
Everything you said about the Witcher and the Street fighter is 100% how I feel
Sadly... Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Seriously.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/47r8FXYZWNUHonorable mention to Detective Pikachu, but that movie was largely forgettable and no one's actually played the video game it's based off of.
Best TV show based on a video game, if it counts, is either Arcane based on League of Legends or Netflix Castlevania (although I personally haven't watched either, cause I don't mess with Netflix).
Now the WORST one? Is definitely, 100%, no-disputes Resident Evil on Netflix. Probably one of the worst shows I've seen of ANYTHING in a very long time. ... And I didn't even actually watch it. I just saw YouTube recaps.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/_lJokGf-obYI just saw the sonic movie and honestly I loved it but I refuse to watch any resident evil stuff because they’re always horrible
Mortal Kombat 1995 😂 cheesy but idc!!! Fatality!
Haha yesss. Best theme song too. TEST YOUR MIGHT!
