Who is the most authentic James Bond?

Question

I've seen several 007 films multiple times, for all 6 official actors. There is no doubt which one it is. He had the best combination of sophistication, warmth and ruthlessness. I'll give my answer in an update.

Admittedly I've only ever seen Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig as Bond. I never have seen Sean Connery play him as the many-times-over praised James Bond. From what I've seen I always liked Daniel Craig as him, he felt fitting to me, but then I've never seen Connery or Roger Moore or the others either.

@dargil I chose Dalton, as he was the most "no nonsense" Bond character, maybe a bit tougher, and not using the off the cuff, clever quips that Connery used.
