I have been like this for years and only one person around me very complained about it and it wasn't the music that bothered him but the lyrics in the songs I played, he said it was like I was constantly feeling sorry for myself by listening to people who sing about their problems and that he was tired of it.

He was a good guy but died unexpectedly one day, after we had been friends for less than 3 years.

I was told his death was due to problems in his sleep but only those who were around know the real reasons for his death.

I find in 95% of the deaths among that group, we were told the person died painlessly in their sleep, and my friend was saying she was beginning to think she was being lied to by those who knew the real reasons and were not sharing them.

That can be annoying. It is right up with idiots and their Spotify playlists. Just play an entire album for once; surely your attention span isn't that bad.

I'll go you one better. My youngest son is an audio engineer. He'll replay the same 5-10 seconds of a song 50 times when he's mixing a song to get everything just right. His home studio is adjacent to my home gym. I've told him I couldn't do what he does. Drives me nuts but he's not listening to the song, he's listening for tiny technical issues and tweaking the sound.
