What are the actual good, non kids cartoons, Thanksgiving movies?
"Alice's Restaurant"
"Planes, Trains, and Automobiles"
The movie "Alice's Restaurant" is based on the song "Alice's Restaurant" which, itself, is based on a real-life event.
If you want a good laugh, check out Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (1987). Absolutely hilarious film. Starring Steve Martin and John Candy, it’s about a man (Martin) desperately trying to make it home in time for Thanksgiving. On his journey, though, he encounters obstacle after hilarious obstacle, including an annoying companion (Candy). It’s one of my favorite movies. 😊
“Thanksgiving”
and if you like that, “Thanksgiving 2”
You’re welcome
Yes, there are some great Thanksgiving-themed movies for adults. "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" is a classic comedy starring Steve Martin and John Candy that can't be missed. "The Ice Storm" offers a more dramatic take on family tensions during Thanksgiving. "Home for the Holidays" is another great choice, showcasing the humor and chaos of family gatherings. Each movie captures the spirit of Thanksgiving with its own unique style. 🍂🦃
