Did you ever try to improve a song that you liked?

I have been a Doors fan for years. I was introduced to them in my early teens. When I saw Apocalypse Now, I was sort of hypnotized by the theme song, which was called The End by the Doors. It was not the insane middle part with all the chaos and sickness. It was the two sections, I call the Intro and the Outro. Combined, they are the best Love Lost song I have ever heard.

When my girlfriend back then left me, I listened to the Intro and Outro of the song multiple times to amplify the suffering of my loss. Years later, the song had stuck with me And I edited the musical track so that I could sing the song Karaoke. And I tuned up the lyrics so that they would be even more fitting. You'll have to move around musical track around a little bit to make the verses fit, but it comes off real well as about a three minute song. Here it is. It's about 3:15.
