I'm sure I could come up with a better answer if I thought about it, but just off the top of my head? Star Trek.

Sure, we see the excitement, and possible danger, of space exploration, from the perspective of the ship's crew, and things like the Borg would obviously suck.

However, the characters constantly talk about how "Earth is a paradise," with no disease, hunger, war, money, etc. Everyone is free to pursue their own interests, and be their best person. That sounds awfully nice to me.

Plus, holodeck porn! 🥳
