What fictional world would you like to live in?

For me, it would definitely be Gotham!

Gotham? You'd be killed by joker or anyone else, or live a relatively boring normal life in new York but with worse crime rates lol. Nvm Batman is by far one of the worst super heroes at actually protecting innocent so the likelihood of dying by criminal is high.
The only good reason I could see for Gotham is if you wanted to be a Super Villain because hey batman won't kill you and you get to always escape to try again. Which okay yeah I would do actually sounds fun.
Though realistically you would have to worry about the heroes that do kill like Red hood. And then if you wanted to be a hero well good luck but I am sure that's a lot of stress and deadly because the criminals will try to kill you.

Anyway Tokyo Ghoul but only if I become a Ghoul of course, Same for Death Note only if I actually had the death note.
Yugioh would be a pretty neat normal universe, playing Yugioh with Holographic realistic projections would be cool.

The thing is pretty much all fictional universes that exist suck unless your the one with the plot armor and power, as such universes you'd realistically be a normal person within it. So unless if those are granted I don't know.
And of course I am overthinking it like always.

Girl, no. You would not want to live in a crime-ridden dump in New Jersey, where Gotham is canonically located.

I would pick Amestris tbh, the government isn’t too different from what I already know but at least alchemy exists there and is an incredibly useful skill for daily life.

I’d live on my farm in Stardew Valley, lmao. My reality, not to sound too dramatic, is actually pretty tragic, so Stardew Valley is where I go to pretend everything is alright and I’m not trapped in a nightmare😅

It’s a simple life, and it kind of lends itself to routine, which I like. Wake up, put water in the cat’s bowl, kiss my wife, do farm stuff, go fishing, do some mining/battling monsters, interact with some townsfolk, gather rando items for the family of raccoons next to me. A “bad day” is not having enough time to plant all my seeds, haha.

Everything is ok there. And I guess that’s what I’m seeking, a place where everything is ok. All problems are minor, nothing really bad ever happens. And I just dig that old school 8-bit look, haha

Gotham seems like a very risky place to live. Very high crime rate, lots of gangs and terrorist activity, etc. Why would you want that? Your insurance costs for living there would be astronomical.

I would choose to be part of The Culture. It's that magic-is-science post-scarcity life for me, thanks.

Star Trek. Original series or TNG, back before they started pretending people could be wounded by hand phasers that used to disintegrate people or destroy a house.

Stun setting was pretty cool. Transporters and replicators. No racism, just some species-ism.
