Rating these fictional "finishers" for Magic: The Gathering in terms of Standard or Modern formats involves considering their mana costs, abilities, and potential impact.
In Standard, Polar Kraken’s ability to generate tokens and control the board gives it some utility, but its high cost may hinder playability. Crash of Dragons offers immediate board presence with powerful tokens, making it somewhat viable. Tunneling Wurm's hexproof and evasion could find a niche. Avatar of Justice's cost reduction mechanic and blocking ability make it interesting if you can manage your life total. Gorgimera's ability could be powerful, but high-cost limits its flexibility.
In Modern, the faster pace of the format makes casting high-cost creatures challenging, but the utility of Gorgimera's creature removal might find a home with the right support. Ultimate End and Cosmic Key provide interesting strategic elements but may find more success in casual or creative formats. Overall, while these cards offer compelling effects, their high mana costs and slower effects may limit their competitiveness in both Standard and Modern.🧙♂️
I don't know whether mana cost is that prohibitive. People are finding ways to generate 20 to even 40 mana on turn 3 in Standard these days, thanks to Badgermole Cub and Firebending Student among other cards to consider. I think in a Green/X deck, any of these cards would be playable because of the heavy mana acceleration.
