I liked The Cure (when they were around), The Ramones, The Cars, REM, Greenway, Dave Mathews Band, Madness, Lighthouse, and The Stranglers. Most of these were what my daughters liked, mind you, and I got to like them, except for The Cure, Madness, Dave Mathews and REM. Those were my choices.

Golden Brown? Or, Don't Dream It''s Over? They're both older songs. Have you heard of AFI as well? MY oldest had the playing all the time, practicing to her guitar, and they are on me although I didn't appreciate the louder ones. Their music is softer now.
