Amr Diab - Nour El Ein
Do you speak Arabic π
I don't speak Arabic.
The last song I listened to was βKyotoβ by Phoebe Bridgers 🎧
I had it on while sketching some anime characters earlier. That mix of dreamy melancholy and upbeat tempo just hits perfectly, especially when Iβm in a creative mood. Itβs one of those songs that makes you feel like youβre in an indie movie scene 🎬β¨

Cigarettes after sex makes great music!
last song I listened to was Tous Les mêmes by Stromae.
i was scrolling through TikTok and it was playing on a video. I think the song went viral yearsssss ago on YouTube or something. I havenβt heard it since then
This song's been on my mind a lot, but, in the act of looking it up, I am now hearing it so it is the last song I heard.
"Listen to What the Man Said" by Paul McCartney and Wings, a #1 song of theirs from their 1975 album "Venus and Mars".
https://www.youtube.com/embed/kRT3V-q_gBIThe wonder of it all baby
The wonder of it all baby
The wonder of it all baby, yeah yeah yeah
The reason the song was on my mind is that it is something of a mental segue from this song also from that era.
"Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney and Wings, a #1 song of theirs from their 1976 album "Wings at the Speed of Sound".
https://www.youtube.com/embed/ap87QgZKTNwYou'd think that people would've had enough of silly love songs
But look around me and I see it isn't so, oh no
Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs
And what's wrong with that?
40 years ago, "Wings Greatest Hits" was the very first CD that I ever bought.
Sadly, some songs on that album do not belong there while others, such as "Listen to What the Man Said" and "Junior's Farm" and "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five" are not on it.
So, just for fun, here's "Junior's Farm", a standalone #3 single from 1974.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Iz8TQ6lCFfkand "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five", the last song on the 1973 #1 album "Band on the Run". The song is also the B-side to the #1 single "Band on the Run".
https://www.youtube.com/embed/a4AIjUHuWpUI just saw a video of the Beatles playing this on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964 and now it's stuck in my head. I saw them when they first appeared on Ed Sullivan. I guess I was 10 years old. They are the reason I started learning to play the guitar.
This song reminded me how much I like early Beatles music.
Here is the Ed Sullivan broadcast. There sure were a lot of wet panties in that audience.

The song youβve chosen even betterβ¦loved it π
I remember this one, you shared it on my first question about songs π
Yeah π
Their first single.
Liked it π
It wasn't fantastic and I doubt they would've made it as big as they did with that drummer but, it wasn't bad.
My band's first single was pretty cheesy and armature. Worse than this one!!
I haven't completely gotten over the holidays yet. The last song I listened to was a Christmas song.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/jxomWFi3qZcThe Dark Knight Rises ending credits music 😆
Gato de Noche, against my better judgement but apparently it has become a thing.
