He wrote it for his dead mom when she came to him in a dream. Their record label was about to drop them because their last two albums were flops. The singer, still grieving over his mother's death, was ready to call the band members and say he was done with music. That night, when he fell asleep, his mom came to him in a dream and said, "I'm back in the atmosphere but I'm not here to stay, I'm making my way to the Milky Way". He got up, sat at the piano and wrote the song in ten minutes.

I saw them play that twice. Once in a private mini concert and once in a small public concert. It was excellent. I really enjoyed the public concert as it was outdoor at night and you could just go up to the stage if you wanted. It was fun to see a little girl invited to go up on stage to dance.

It was so sad but beautiful at the same time. I was choking back tears 😭 Then I thought, how amazingly talented some people are, to take their sadness and pain and put them to words and music. I guess it's harder than I thought it would be when we're still friends. I'm really trying but I will be honest in saying that being his friend is stopping the healing process and I know it's not good but he needs me right now. I found out last night he's going through a lot of pain and sorrow and I can't give up on him right now. Not when he needs me. I will try not to post so much about him or how I feel but I don't know if my feelings are going to go away so easily when I have to be his friend because of what he's going through.

I apologize for posting so much about this though. I will try to be more positive and post about things that's not related to this as much as possible from here on out.

Sometimes the truth hurts 🤕 but a real friend is going to tell you the truth when it's in your best interest (unless they act like your friend and then lie 🤥 to you).
