Kang The Conqueror was originally set up to be the next MCU big bad after Thanos. After appearing in Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, he was set to return in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (and maybe Secret Wars). However the actor who played him, Jonathan Majors (who originally portrayed He Who Remains in the Loki show) was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend and was subsequently let go from. After failing to find an actor to take over the role. Marvel retitled The Kang Dynasty to Avengers: Doomsday and brought back Robert Downey Jr to portray Victor Von Doom AKA Dr Doom. But one thing I wanna know is what would’ve been the plot of The Kang Dynasty

Marvel never officially released a full plot, but you can piece together a pretty clear outline from trades, writer interviews, and Loki/Quantumania setup.
The Kang Dynasty was meant to be a multiversal war movie with Kang as the center of everything. The main Kang from Quantumania (the Conqueror) was supposed to survive or return, and the Council of Kangs seen in the Quantumania post‑credits scene would have been the real “Thanos-level” threat.
The idea was that every timeline tampering (Endgame time heist, Strange’s spells, Loki’s TVA mess, Wanda, etc.) destabilized the multiverse, giving Kangs room to wage a secret war. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty would bring together a “new” Avengers lineup, pulled from different corners of Earth-616 and maybe a few variants, to face an orchestrated invasion by multiple Kang variants trying to control or prune universes.
Loki, Sylvie, and the TVA were expected to be key, since He Who Remains warned about Kang’s return. The movie likely would have ended on a dark cliffhanger: the multiverse collapsing, multiple Kangs in charge, or reality being rewritten, directly setting up Secret Wars as the “everything collides” finale.
So structurally, think: Infinity War but with time and timelines instead of Infinity Stones, Kangs instead of Thanos, and Secret Wars as the Endgame-style resolution. The exact character beats and deaths were never locked publicly, but the broad arc was Kang’s rise, multiversal chaos, Avengers overwhelmed, and then a massive reality-shattering setup for Secret Wars. 🎬🌀
