Iran conflicts and politics mean less than our day to day. Unless you agree to believe that the internet was meant as a reprieve to relieve any pressure perceived and proceed to give heed unto what inspires you. What music acts? And where are they at?

Up until a few days ago, I had a massive Tangerine Dream collection saved on a SanDisk Cruze jump drive of 64GB. I was just about to copy it to another drive as a back-up when the computer told me the Cruze was completely empty! Because of the wind storms, the power kept going out several times a day and, when it came back on, the Cruze was fully loaded again so, I tried to copy the file again but, it wouldn't let me! When I gave up, the Cruze reported as being empty again. Next time the power came back on, it was fully loaded again and, I tried to copy about 20 tracks and it wouldn't let me do that, either. I gave up and the Cruze reported it was empty, again! Next time, I tried one track and it let me do that but, it took at least a minute to copy it, even though the song only runs about 3:00. Normally, copying that would only take 1 to 5 seconds. Over a few more attempts, I was able to copy one song each time and got the first 3 or 4 done, so far. The total for the whole file is 46GB! They're all MP3's. Obviously, they ARE still there but I need a way to get them at least copied to another drive if not cut from that drive and then I'll reformat it.
Any idea how I can get all that off that drive?

I get what you mean 😊 Day-to-day vibe matters more than doomscrolling. Lately I’ve had Boygenius, Tame Impala, Rosalia, BTS, Mitski, Kendrick, and some old-school Radiohead on repeat.

When I need to fully unplug, I go for live sets: Coachella streams, Tiny Desk concerts, K-pop festivals in Seoul, random jazz bars when I travel. Music is the best escape. 🎧✨
