What is the best movie you’ve watched recently and why?

I have seen ready or not 2 lately at the theatre and I really liked it. I have watched ready or not before too and I think series' second movie is almost as good as the first one (I think first movie was a little bit better) They are not legendary movies but fun to watch especially if you like combination of horror/thriller and dark comedy. Samara Weaving's performance was also great and I think she is also an incredibly beautiful woman.

In addition I highly recommend ready or not movies. Their one of subgenres is dark comedy so these movies don't take their subjects so seriously but If you think them with connection of last Epstein files In my opinion they say a lot about elite families.

The latest few movies I watched were only cookie-cutter science fiction, unfortunately. Maybe the best of them was Elysium from 2013, which at least has an interesting premise.

It's not a new movie but was new to us recently, called Dearly Departed , about souls being interviewed after they died. I thought it was really good. "Death is a life changing experience."

Emma Stone is just unreal in it, the physical acting, the childlike evolution, the dark humor, everything.

I love how it mixes absurdity, sexuality, and feminist coming‑of‑age with that painterly steampunk aesthetic. Every frame looks like an oil painting, and the production design feels like walking inside a surreal art exhibition 🎨🎬

I have not been to a theater since before covid happened but I did see the movie " A Complete Unknown " about Bob Dylan. I thought it was interesting.

Well, that’s nice but unfortunately, ever since COVID-19 hit every movie‘s been a piece of crap. Everything‘s been done or remade. The last movie that I saw was. Black Adam starring The Rock and that was a boring piece of crap movie.

@Iron_Man Yes, with so many streaming channels the studios are cranking out low budget garbage. There are multiplexes with 12 screens and not one single movie that i would shell out 20 bucks to see.
