For my ears, Katy Perry’s weaker albums bother me more than Taylor’s weaker albums. 🙈
Taylor at least experiments with lyrics and storytelling, even if her style isn’t your thing. Katy leans heavily into big, sugary pop hooks that can feel shallow and dated fast.

If I had to keep one in my library, I’d keep Taylor and skip Katy. 🎧
