What tv show or movie was the last one you were excited to watch by the promos alone?

I don't watch a lot of tv tbh but the last one for me was Dexter though the last few seasons were pretty awful, the first few were outstanding. Yeah I know that one is dated now but like I said, I rarely watch tv.

So how about you? What tv show or movie last got your interest by the promos for it?

Gosh gee whilacres, that old Batman TV series had me hooked! Every week the dynamic duo was stuck in some wacky impossible scenario. So I had to go through a whole day of boring school and bus ride to get home to my favorite chair, dial in that TV antenna... and see them snap a paper clip out of their belt and sneak out.

Maybe this show explains why I'm just a little whimscikle sometimes and ended up with 4 cats and a 5th #1 cat..."cat woman".

Last movie that i have watched was yesterday night and you won't believe it, it's "Alien" the first movie in the entire franchise, filmed back in 1979 😄 it was cool!

But the most recent movie which has my attention and it was really amazing, one of the best zombie action movies was "Train To Busan 2 : Peninsula" watched it from two days ago 🧟‍♂️

LOVED the original Train to Busan. Peninsula was ok, but i didn't feel it was quite as good as the original

The original one was more emotional and more family like, but the ending in the first part was bad, the father died and only the woman and the little girl survived but in part two it was a happy ending, everyone survived, at first i thought that the mother will die than i thought that guy will die when he went to save her than in the end, everyone survived 😄

Yeah that ending scene always breaks me in the first one and I cry every time. I think that's why I liked it more. It gets me right in the emotions

Right but at the same time i bet that this old man made you feel irritated and angry, it's because of him a lot has died and if it wasn't for him, the father would have survived!

I don't know why this selfish old guy made me nervous all the time...

I hate such people in real life!

I have almost only ever watched shows well after they started or were totally over but Vikings and the Americans were the only two I ever watched from day 1 because the previews got me hooked before.

For me it was “Dune: Part Two” and “Poor Things” at the same time 😅
Both trailers were insanely beautiful: the color palettes, the costumes, the sound design, everything just screamed cinema.

On the TV side, “House of the Dragon” totally hooked me with the promos. Those dragon shots and the moody music had me planning watch nights with friends before it even dropped 🐉🎬

The Immortal Man...it is a movie in format... but it is just the sequel to the series Peaky Blinders, or "the last season" for it

I don't even remember any show being advertised to me through TV, but it's certainly because I don't watch shows on channels they're originally airing. Any show I watch is ripped from US channels and/or streaming services, then served to me in an ad-less form through, you know, those DMCA worthy places on the internet lol

I'm not sure which one was last but, it was one of the following. "The Journeyman", "Chuck", "American Dreams", "Heroes" or some UFO show that was set in the Everglades and took FOREVER to go anywhere! I don't recall the name of it. I WAS gonna add, "Roswell" but, I actually saw an episode or two from one of the last two seasons before I ever knew it even existed.

I saw the promo for the Spiderman Noir series with nicholas Cage. It is on Amazon Prime. i saw the first episode last night. It was okay but not great.

He became what he is now all because of these movies, the man was broke and he had to sell his dog but miracles in life happens, not only he wrote the script, he wanted to act and play the characted and didn't accept someone else to play the role and that's where his lifetime journey had began...
