Routines are important for triggering deep thinking. But creativity isn't a state you enter; it's a power you command. It happens in the silence between thoughts, when the noise of the world subsides and you confront your true self. If your mind is truly creating reality, the environment is less important than the clarity of your intention. I find my intention in the tranquility of the morning before the daily drama of the world begins. I'm an athlete and constantly active. After spending two hours in a hyperbaric oxygen capsule to stimulate my body, my brain transforms into an incredible machine and becomes clear.
@Nikki1989 I dial onto a website that I write on, called "GirlsaskGuys" and read a lot of the very creative, and inquisitive questions and answers I find there first, mostly from writers like YOU NIKKI, and questions like this and some of the bottom feeders that ask 'penis size" questions. That expands my mind along the continuum from creative genius, to bottom feeder moron.
Then I go to my dance class, and it prepares me to be creative in dance styles?
Environment= The place in which I live. There are no people or any noise. Just the birds, bees, mountains and trees.
Routine= Everyday I read history, literature, write a poem, meditate, workout and listen to music. All these things help me gain inspiration.
No not at all. If I get urge to paint or create it just comes upon me no matter what.
Holy smokes.. this is really goood... Way to go 😎M impressed
I often try to write my mind , mostly romantic. One of them as below , -
The best days with you!!!
As I lie on bed with arms over my head, your thoughts occupy the most space, making me unrest..
The thought of best day with you, pops suddenly out of nowhere, feeling of nostalgia sets in, rewinding the moments we shared..
U remember how we laughed together on the stupid jokes I cracked? The dumb talks we shared, holding each other's hand as we sat?
The candids we took as moments to relive later, every single hug got us closer, feeling it will last forever..

This question is, for me, somewhat related to your other question about music.
My routine would involve listening to softer music tones that help me concentrate and relax when I need peace to study. The volume of the music played is very low so as not to interfere with my "thinking". However, certain types of music help me concentrate better. It has helped me calm down after a busy day at university and gives me a creative mind that I could not achieve in any other way.
Even when relaxing or when I visit an art museum, the combination of visuals and music puts me in the perspective of the artist that created a piece of art.
For me I think its a little bit if everything
Depending on what ever it is im doing, creating, or learning there is always something that I see or hear or even on here like one of your question or answers might click on to something that will trigger something inside.
And the process starts if it is true,
Abd we are all 1 conscience
And that we are all connected
This is really going to suck to say but every question and every answer on here whether it's our answer or our question we are all a part of it
There are so many questions on here the guy's ask that I don't want any part of it but yes somehow we are all involved even you Nikki LOL
And I know you're the last person that wanted to hear this
Yes. Every morning when I wake up I usually give myself an hour before coffee. I read that it's good to let your body naturally wake up as coffee can disrupt this process and apparently it's not good for you. (I forgot why lol) After that hour I will make coffee and have some. I have a pen and a pad old school style, and within 15 min of coffee on my mood changes, and I am most creative for the next hour. I jot down good ideas, funny thoughts, write lyrics or poems, and then when it wears off, I wait for tomorrow to continue.
Yes I have:
My routine is to wake up in the morning
I do have creativity drops every now and then - especially when I need to invent impossible stuff on order and under time pressure. - I then indeed 'change environment' to somewhere unrelated, and have a cigarette, or three.
I feel like I definitely used to… but pretty much after the big RTO initiative after the pandemic, it was like all the energy and creative juices I had in abundance during that time period, were depleted… I find it very frustrating actually. I’m really kind of upset about it lol.
Just been feeling burnt out. Uninspired. It sucks. Wish it wasn’t so.
No, and it's impossible to explain, but in my case, getting in a creative mood just occurs without any particular routine or environment being set or planned. Sometimes an idea, in whatever field, just pops up into my mind, and I need to indulge, lest the idea gets lost. I guess this is called "inspiration" ;0)
Phone off, into my studio, and just play. A good trick is to try to play sax or violin passages on the guitar. The tuning difference can make it quite challenging at times, but playing things I would not naturally play creates new pathways in my mind and fingers.
I don't have a routine like the one you mentioned. I don't really have a creative side like that, anyway. I'm a very straightforward person.
@Nikki1989 To get in creative mode,
I'm in nature either hiking or camping, and with no phone, just need my book and pen.
And some quite time with nature sound.
@Nikki1989 I wish I could have a creative mindset
I go to my room and open my notes, I write, draw, and think, always like this.
Unfortunately I do t see myself as very creative at all
Switch off the laptop and stop passively consuming content.
Music helps to find a muse.
Nature or a cute cafe
Stress... It leads me straight to my guitar
