So, i was watching the movie "Rust Creek" tonight, it's about a young girl who lost her way on the road, she met two bad guys who tried to sexually harass her, she fought them and ran away to the woods but she was injured from the fight, she passed out and a guy saved her and took her to his trailer where he took care of her, fed her and protected her, at first she was affraid of him, tried to attack him and ran away but later on she got used to him and started to like the guy and his lifestyle...

I'm not so sure about falling in love with someone simply because they save or protect you as being “usual”, but I do think it creates a deeper connection and a greater sense of security. Feeling safe and protected by another person can strengthen the emotional bond between two people.

In terms of falling in love with men, I think love often grows over time. Consistent care, affection, and consideration can gradually become something much deeper than simple appreciation. Personally, I know I can fall in love with a man through repeated acts of kindness, genuine affection, and thoughtful consideration. If being with him gives me a sense of peace and emotional safety, my appreciation for him can naturally grow into love.

First of all the sherif looks like my gym teacher in high school very weird to watch lol

I was a little bummed out!! I honestly thought that Lowell was going to get out of that town and I was rooting for him. He deserved better than that ending 🥹

I was falling for Lowell’s character.. even though the biggest idiot who harassed her in the beginning was not bad looking, but as the movie went on I really hated him with a passion.

Yep, everytime i watch it, i feel sad for Lowell because he saved her life not only once but three times, plus when he was about to change his lifestyle and run away from this town, he didn't succeed because the sheriff was the worst guy ever, not only he killed Lowell, but he killed hollister too, which shows that he was using them only for his own benefits... etc

Look at how the girl's attitude changed, first she threw acid like material on Lowell's face than she started to listen to him, than she got along with him and in the end she trusted him and wanted him to run away with her, still at the end before she knew that the sheriff is the bad guy, she was asking him to call an ambulance to save Lowell...

Sooo, that's what i meant from my question, if someone saves you, is it possible to have feelings towards your keeper if he's treating you nice after saving you... etc ☺️

Yes, that’s why I said it was hard to watch my gym teacher was tough, but had good intentions. So seeing how cold hearted the sheriff was I feel so upset each time got away with everything. I hated his little comment “I’m the chief” ugh so annoying lol.
I was even more upset when he killed the other cop.
But yes, if I was even cheering for Lowell specially in such situations when he not only saved her, they had their own understanding went as far as trying to keep each other safe. I really was hoping they would run away together. 🥹
